For this recipe it’s important to put your Rosé in the freezer overnight, or your Frosé will end up being too watery. The wine won’t freeze completely but it will have that slush consistency we’re after.
Keep the Frosé in the freezer in between refilling your glass. I wouldn’t keep it to the next day though, I would recommend finishing it on the same day.

Strawberry Grapefruit Frosé
Ingredients
- bottle rosé 750ml, frozen
- 500 grams frozen strawberries
- juice of half a grapefruit
- 200 ml grapefruit tonic
Instructions
- Pour the wine into a plastic jug, cover with cling wrap and place in the freezer overnight.
- Just before you're ready to serve the Frosé, remove wine from freezer and empty into a blender. Add the frozen strawberries and juice of half a grapefruit. Pulse until the strawberries have been liquidized.
- Add the tin of grapefruit tonic and pulse for a short while to incorporate.
- Add to wine or gin glass, garnish with fresh grapefruit and mint and serve immediately.
- Keep the remainder of the mixture in the freezer in between servings.
